Default Help 07 Automatic Tranny Problems....

I own a 07 CS 350Z (Automatic)......So...
1 Week Ago i was leaving work and i thought that it was on drive but, instead i left it neutral when i was backing up so i step on the gas and figure its in Neutral
l so i wait for the RPMS to come back down so i can put it in Drive....when I was on the strret after i was going ONLy 19MPH and i push it in manual mode to see what gear i was on and it said 3rd .And when i was going 40MPH it said that i was going in 5th gear already ???????? Please Can you guys figure whats the Problem.....AND DONT SAY "YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A MANUAL"...

Whats wrong with that?? is it shifting abnormally?

Just seems like the transmission is shifting early to save gas. Is anything else occurring? Harsh shifting or anything like that?

YEA WHEN ITS IN MANUAL MODE AND IT DOWNSHIFTS BUY IT SELF 5, 4,3,1
IT SEEMS LIKE IT MIGHT BE SKIPPING 2ND GEAR...
sHIFTS ARE SOOMTH BUT IS THERE ANYWAY TO BRING IT BACK THE WAY IT USED TO BE?

Nothing is wrong with your transmission. Your engine/transmission will shift accordingly to your speed. Why would you want to be in 2nd gear when you've come to a stop anyways?

nothing wrong with your tranny dood. I was about the comment that this was the first AT tranny issue thread that I've seen.
