Thumbs up

Please also note that Nissan Sport is going the extra mile with an event within the event called the "Nissan Performance Fest" which will include displays from Nissan / Inifiniti (Corp and Dealers), as well as special show categories.

Registration in the T4T carshow automatically enters Nissan/Infiniti/Datsun owners in the approporiate Nissan Performance Fest categories. If you do not have a club or team, you can opt to park within the NPE area (but you must be registered to do so)

Cheers, Ted

wasn't the show last year canceled (3rd annual)? Are there any assurances that the same thing wont happen this year?

There were various reasons for canceling last year. We put out thousands of dollars for a charity effort with no guarantees that anyone will attend.

Believe me, it takes more effort on our part to put on this show (and cancel) than it does to register and get a refund.

So, I wouldn't be doing this again if I didn't address the issues from last year. Teaming up with Speed Ventures and Nissan Sport allows to spread the risk, especially for a venue of this size - and an event of this complexity.

What other assurance do you need, and would it make you register any faster? The location is paid for, and the event will happen.

If we cancel, USN HM 350Z, I will drive down to SD and pay you $100 cash... guaranteed - but only if you are registered participant.

Hope to see you there.

Cheers, Ted

Where can you go and see a Ferrari F430 & 360 run amidst a pack of Z06's, BMW M's, Audi RS4, three flavors of Porsche and 3 of the top 5 Ultimate Sport Compact Challenge cars? Maybe you'd rather see how a tricked out Cobra does vs a GT500 and a Cadillac CTS-V? Then you need to check out the High Performance Driving Experience at the 4th Annual Toys for Tots Charity Car Show. Domestic, German, Italian, Japanese, all learning how to put their supercars through it's paces.

T4T07 would like to welcome Valley-Hi Nissan as our Family Fun Zone sponsor! Thanks to Ness Cohen at Valley-Hi, there will be a 4 kiddie bouncers, including a 5-in-1 combo slide/basketball jumper, inflatable boxing, a velcro wall, a 43' slide and the Dino K2 Challenge (a 22 ft. tall / 30 ft. long /15 ft. wide obstacle course with climbing wall for all ages!!) Valley-Hi Nissan has also confirmed that Santa will be there for photos and Christmas wishes. Santa's helpers will also be there & more than happy to take pictures with daddy.

There's just over two weeks left for registration, so get your cars into the last show of the year! New categories created as registration grows. From stock to wild, there's a category for you!

New T4T07 Sponsor - FOCUS AUTO SALES
T4T07 would like to welcome Focus Auto Sales of Garden Grove as our newest sponsor. They specialize in pre-owned performance import cars. Take a moment to check out their stock, it's fun to browse and dream. Thanks Jacko!

START listening for JACK-TIVITIES PSA's on 93.1 Jack FM. Be the first one to post up in the official T4T07 discussion board and win a free raffle ticket for each time you hear us on the radio... get 5 for being the first to spot us on their website. Here's a link the board you need to post to... and instructions! You could win a cat-back exhaust!

Things to know:
-> Registration for the car show closes this week on Friday 11/16.

-> Categories have been updated, including ROVAL Time Attack and Autocross. Don't forget the 6' trophy for the team or individual bringing the most toys to donate. There is also a Best Holiday Display for INDIVIDUAL and for TEAM. The TEAM SPIRIT award is still up for grabs (most registered participants). We currently have a 3-way tie of 6....so grab your buddies!

-> We were forced to cancel the Carl's Jr. Star Diner because the food concessions at Cali Speedway raised their "buy-out" fee to an un-holy price...those who paid for their combos may either have a refund, or eat with the staff. We'll be sending them an email, or they can tell us their preference at marketing@teamtransport.org. For everyone else, we recommend bringing a small BBQ, or brown-bagging it. Outside food & drink is allowed - no alcohol.

-> Load-in information & schedules will be emailed approximately one week before the event. A tentative schedule is already posted on T4TCarShow.

-> We know that Paypal has been wonky. Rest assured your registrations are captured by the system, although paypal may time-out. Let us know if that happens and we can send you an invoice that will ensure payment is received.

-> The $5 discount per car for groups registering 10 or more cars at the same time is still available at check-out. If your group exceeds 10 cars (registered with your club name), but not at the same time, we will still provide the organization a rebate... however your team/club leader must contact us, as this is a manual process.

-> If you know of someone that does not have internet at the moment, but still wants to register you can input their information in registration and then abandon the payment process. We will call the registered phone # and/orwait for a check or alternate payment. Make checks/MOs payable to Team Transport, 19745 Colima Rd., #205 Rowland Heights, CA 91748.

-> For faster answers to your questions, email "marketing@teamtransport.org", or post on the T4T Q&A thread located here.

Thanks... and we look forward to a great show!

Just received a confirmation from Nissan Sport Magazine that they will (obviously) be covering the show... but they will be doing features on the Editor's Choice winners for Nissan, Infiniti & Datsun.

Additionally, they are looking for a few other cars to give coverage to + you just never know if you will stick out enough to warrant a future article on your ride.

This a good chance to get some attention and see yourself in print!

Unfortunately, they will not be looking in the parking lot for cars to be in the magazine... just those registered for the show or participating track activities.

As Ted said, Nissan Sport will be looking for Nissans, Datsuns and Infinitis to be included in future magazine articles.

Nissan Sport will be selecting and awarding three Editor’s Choice Trophies. One for Datsuns, one for Nissans and one for Infinitis. Past winners have been clean daily drivers that are not extensively modified. Just ask Coco.

They’ll be race car trophies so you can race and also be in the car show.

If you're car's not in the show or racing, you'll be in general parking and, IMO, that's no place for a Z. One guy told me he's paid more than $25.00 for parking at an event in L.A. and he wasn't right next to the garages, race cars and race track.

Come on out, get your Z in the show and support a worthy charity!

thanks for your support. Def more G's registered than Z's at the moment.

+1 on more Z's I'd also guess that there are more Z's than 350z's at the moment.

This will be the first car show I've attended where there'll only be a few 350Zs. I'm surprised at the lack of participation... especially since it's a low stress, outdoor, charity event.

Current count:

G35 =27
G37 =1
350z=14
FX's = 6
Various Datsun's = 5

A couple of Maximas

and 2 "real" Skylines.

Registration for the event has now exceeded 150.
Hopefully we will exceed our record toy collection of around 1400 toys.

As a side note, there will be 20+ Mitsubishi Evo's in the general car show (ouch 350 guys... I mean a vast majority of this event was created as a Nissan Performance Festival)

As a result of registrations, here are the categories that will be offered (affecting N/I/D brands)

BOS Infiniti - Wild
BOS Infiniti - Mild
BOS Infiniti - Stock
BOS Infiniti - G35 Sedan
BOS Infiniti - G Coupe - Mild
123 Infiniti G Coupe - Mild
123 Infiniti FX - Mild
BOS Nissan (non 350z)
BOS 350z Wild
BOS 350z Mild
123 Nissan 350z - Mild
BOS 350z Stock
123 Datsun / Nissan 200 Series
BOS Nissan Maxima
Nissan Sport Magazine Editor's Choice - Nissan
Nissan Sport Magazine Editor's Choice - Datsun
Nissan Sport Magazine Editor's Choice - Infiniti

Also, our vintage/classic brothers have a classic import and special interest category that they can also compete in, and not just as their only category.

I dare you to find a show that gives this much love to G35's and 350z models. ...uh, I mean models as in cars, not the girls - - you know...
