WTF - Voice mail solicitation from WCN?!?
I cannot believe this crap! I received a solicitation to buy a car from West Covina Nissan (WCN) via my cellphone's voice mail today. I've never done business with them and don't know how they got my number.
Anyone else get a call from WCN recently?
UPDATE
I just called WEST COVINA NISSAN at (626) 732-1000 and spoke with David Hudson. He informed me that they use three systems to gather names/numbers and that they could have gotten my number when I called for a service quote. He informed me that it could take up to 24 hours to process the DO NOT CALL request. He was very pleasant and apologetic.

I got one of those calls... Surprised and annoyed the hell out of me. They have great service but unsolicited sales calls like that... I thought they were better than that.

what's being said on the message?
maybe i should get something like that for StreetImage.
oh wait, nevermind.
my office phone rings off the hook already.
and my pm box receives a new msg every 2-3 minutes.
blksnake:
that's very weird they got your phone number.
you sure you've never even called for a quote?
it's a tactic employed by dealerships to increase sales/customer satisfaction.
i remember calling SUPERIOR NISSAN to order some parts.
the next day they called, asking if i was looking for a car.
i told them "no, i run a shop and i was looking for some parts"
then the gentleman asked "did we handle everything for you?"
i told him "yes, we have it all"
he said "great" and told me to have a great day.
a different person called for the next 3 days.
hahahaha!
