when I hit 3K rpm on the third gear my face is like
at 6K rpm my face is like
if a cop pulls me over then I'll be like

if they take my car a way , I'll be like

 

ive gotten 2 state ref tickets (that i've also kept in memory haha)

1st offense - $580
2nd offense - $1008

thats what i had to pay since i couldnt pass. im not sure if prices vary but thats what i got hit with. =\

 

what kind of offense ? for having turbos ???

after you paid the violation then what? do they make you take the turbos out?

 

my first one i had non carb approved header on my integra. i couldnt put it back to stock because i had internals done and what not so i just paid the fine and then that was done with.

my second one i had a 1jz swap in my lexus. (TT)

basically...u can have an intake and get a state ref. depends on the cop that pulls you over. especially now too since we recently had those 2 incidents involving street racing and people dying.

its a huge risk like people have posted previously.

 

can you just pay the fine and leave it alone ? I had so much done to my car, ther is no way I can put OEM parts back on. It would be cheaper just to pay the fine.

 

yea. thats what i did. there was no way i was putting my motor back to stock. haha

 

I will No problem, just go to a local meet and if you see me hit me up. Car is getting a surgery right now at GTM. Not putting the N/A Z down but no where near as quick as turbo'd Z.

 

Once I had a chippie pull me over, he asked "Do yo have any force induction?" I said "I wish I did, but no I dont" He walked towards the front of my car and shined his flashlight looking for an intercooler. Wierd. Didnt give me a ticket, just told me to put my front plate on.

 

lucky you, I have TT with no front plate.

I have the Top Secret front bumber and don't really know where to mount the front plate.

 

thats not going to work, some cops really know what they are looking for. my friend jus got pulled over and got a intake,exhaust, headers ticket. poor kid
