Dude, you're in Hawthorne! I'm in Gardena.

Go to Bob's Auto Repair on Rosecrans before Inglewood (if going west on Rosecrans)

He has been there for years and he and his crew know their stuff. They replaced all of the brakes, all the way 'round on my Sentra and he has done work (maintenance) on my Z as well.

Good shop, good guy (Bob) and good prices. He charges about half what places like Pep Boys charge.

I don't know the price. You can bring your own or he can get his own. Matter-fact, they had a complete '94 Sentra brake system in stock ready to go even before I called.

You just want the pads changed-out?

Call him and ask yourself.

Bob's Auto Repair

He can give you an exact quote over the phone. Tell him that Mark with the blue Z / black Sentra recommended him to you.

Yeah. Really nice guy and I've known him for quite some time. He (and his crew) always finish my cars on or before schedule and as I said before, prices are much better than the bigger companies that probably don't even do as good a job as he.

When you pass-by his shop, there are ALWAYS a bunch of car in the lot waiting to be serviced / repaired.

He does not, however, work on weekends- he has a daughter to take care of and play with.

P.S. If you TRULY feel like the price is a little high, he is willing to accept some negotiation at least from my experience but maybe that's because I am a repeat customer. Not sure about noobies.

He closes around 6 p.m. but there have been times where I came in after work to pick a car up and he would stay there late.

Give him a call and try to work things out. He typically work 10-12 hours a day so he likes to have his weekends off. As I said, give him a call and try to work something out.

A+ for Bob's Auto Repair...

Got in this morning at 8:30 and was out by 9:15(just as he promised)... he explained/showed what was wrong with the rotors and showed me how he machines them...

Great price, fast service, no hassles, no bullsh@t... A+
