Default crazy road rage incident on the 110 fwy yesterday...

as we know during the recent years, Southern California is "hella" notorious for bad drivers..... as long as ive been on the road since my parents were driving the quality of driving has declined to the level of "barbarians" on the road in the recent times.... every single day im avoiding idiots and dumb asses constantly..... i think its due to the increase of technology such as cell phones, tvs, mp3 players etc.... or just people are tired being stuck in traffic tired of the world and life who just dont give a ----..... well whatever it is yesterday will top all the road rage incidents ive experienced in my life....

my dad commutes from glendale to redondo everyday and takes the 110 going there carpool and 110 back but cuts through downtown....

as i was driving for the "old man" on the 110 southbound in the carpool lane i noticed this newer bluish Toyota Tundra driving like ***** in the carpool... he was on my azz so i moved to the side and he gave me a dirty look... he started cutting people off... another 4 cars then finally a silver Honda Pilot got into it and they were cutting in and out from carpool , brake checking, swerving into each others lane and finally the Honda Pilot got him pissed getting trapped behind him and another car....

the blue tundra hella nutty just dives into the emergency lane cuts him off and they BRAKE ON THE 110 carpool lane, THE BLUE TUNDRA FORCED THE OTHER GUY TO STOP AND THEY BOTH STOPPED on the 110 FWY !!!! THE GUY COMES AT THE PILOT with a BAT !!! and the PILOT smashed that fool not hard but hit him hard enough to where the guy disappeared with the Honda Pilot. i faintly saw driving away and i didnt see a car after me for a long time... ..

dunno if they caused an accident, a back up in traffic but i tried calling 911 and no one answered......

did i get his license, nope.... too far didnt want to be a part of a wreck when they were going at it. but for certain there were tons of witnesses behind me i know it got called in for sure... either one of those guys didnt get away, traffic on the 110 + good sumaritans

im just curious how would this be ruled in court in case the guy hurt him? who would be at fault.

moral to my story, becareful and avoid roadrage

have a great weekend folks drive safe

wait, so the guy in the tundra got out, and started smashing up the pilot with a bat? or he started beating up the DRIVER with a bat?

either way, reasons like this make me want to keep one of my peices in my hatch.

all 911 call from a cell phone goes straight to a general CHP dispatcher.(they still have to route you through to whatever city your in). I remember i called 911 from my cell phone when i got in my accident and i was put on hold...

it's understandable i guess since obviously i bet alot of 911 calls probably come in...but..you'd think they would work diligently on making things more efficient.

From the story:

Tundra driver with bat came running to Honda Pilot. Honda Pilot ran into the Tundra driver wielding a bat. Moral of the story, car > human + bat.

Legal stuff:

They can both sue each other, but nothing will come out of it. Tundra driver initiated the assualt with the bat. Honda driver can say he was threaten and used force to protect himself.

Realistically, its another day in LA.

Guy got lucky. I remember a few month back in Norco this guy in a Explore (I think) was pissed and another guy in a Maxima shot this car and I think it killed the guys daughter sitting in the back seat of the Maxima. Here aint bad so far. I haven't heard of road rage, even though they ride on the fast lane at the speed limit.

Which is why they need a non-emergency response number. Many cities have a 311 that you can dial for basic traffic accident and non-emergency issues - California needs this system.

Happened to me - it ran for about 45 seconds, then somebody picked up, put me on hold, and I was disconnected.

To pay for all the overzealous consumer protection laws and entitlement packages for pot-smoking hippies...

It was reported on the news that 30% of all the cars on the road caught on intersection cameras were not registered and did not belong on the road. Now add that to all the people who do not have licenses/insurance on top of the road rage. No body respects the law anymore.
