Default Southern California Cruise Update!!!!

I just wanted to make sure all participaters are aware that the course has changed. It is the same at the beginning, but after we are done with the 243, we are NOT going to take the 74 back. Much longer, more fun route.
Click on the google map thing to see the new route, you may be a bit shocked!!!!!

it is relativly close to 340 miles, so this has gotten insane!

Not planning one, but we will need one. I recommend people gassing up before reaching It's a grind. We will stop after each canyon to make sure everyone came out ok. At this point, someone can ask to stop for gas. I dont know the area that well, so it's a see as it goes type thing. I think we will stop for gas before entering the 243. We will stop periodicaly at gas stations, but that is for ding dongs and ho-ho's... lol. Not realy, more like red bull and water.

When planning something of this magnitude, you really need to have your stuff together and know where things are at. Just hoping that you run into a gas station along the way isn't the best of ideas.

Well, i know we are going to pass a bunch of gas station right before hitting the 243. I know some people are going to meet up after ortega, and i know they know the area that well. the 350z can last 200-300 miles on a single full tank, and the aftermarket 350z i have no clue about. I will research gas stations, but i need a couple moments for that.

OK. I found out which gas stations. We will fuel up right before the 15, i know there is a chevron there, and i have used it many times. Then, we will fill up at hamet, right before the 243 (even if you still have gas). Another couple gas stations are located at the end of the 243, before we come and take the road again. Then, right were the 74 meets the 111 is another chevron. if needed, there is another gas station right before we hit the 15 again. There are plenty of gas station. not necessary to realy worry about it. I will worry about it though. thanks for the reminder.
