+1. johns has been there when i got a new engine and tranny all under warranty. when i installed the tranny i did the jwt clutch flywheel combo also. after it was done he even told me there was a knick on the clutch cable that shouldnt affect the car watsoever but if i wanted they can order one and install it for free. after driving for a month i didnt feel anything wrong but figured he offered so i called him. no questions asked he got my car in and out in a day.

sorry to hear, but Performance Nissan took care of all my stuff as well! Dealerships/People will make mistakes. It was a small misunderstanding with no negative effects besides waiting. Honestly if they apologized and are willing to give you a free oil change or something I would forgive them. Especially with all the help they've given to everyone else on this forum.

Yeah, enthusiast-friendly dealers are hard to come by. We need to appreciate them, too.

I thought this last post was an appropriate way to leave the thread, but apparently I was wrong. Perhaps its time for the OP to close this one.

I never had a chance to chime in, but I wanted to say that I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. Performance does excellent work most of the time, which I'm sure you already knew and I'm sure if there was a thread for every dealership out there you'd see that they've all had issues like this. Its not an excuse and it doesn't make it right, its just the truth.

Tim and Performance have done as much as they can do resolve the problem, so it sounds like case close to me.

Everybody makes mistakes, lets move on already.

Oh BTW, John's an awesome dude. I also know him from SP and he wouldn't lie trust me. He made a mistake and he apologized, we're not kids here lets move on.

P.S. I miss performance nissan before the new ownership.

Before, I got great service. Now... after my stoptech rotors being destroyed by their resurfacing guy I don't want to go back.

personally, i would simply work on my own car. everytime i take my car into the dealer, they always seem to mess it up. the mechanics really don't care about your car, thats why you always get screwed. i always work on my own car, and never have been sorry. all you need is a service manual and some patients.
