Just wanted to let you guys know there will be an autocross event in Indio March 15 and 16, 8:30am to 4pm at the riverside fair grounds in Indio, CA.

I thinking about it. I've never ran an autox before. I didn't see on their flyer, but, what are the requirments as far as helmets, gloves, etc?

Did I see a big *** pickup?

 

Wish I could make it but the MR2 is getting a roll bar. Good luck, are you running R-compounds or street tires?

 

Street for me.

 

Its nothing big, its just a large parking area with cones set up. Alot of different cars went last year, Yeah there were a few trucks there. Last year they supplied helmets so im pretty sure they will supply them again, as for gloves there not needed unless you want to bring your own.

 

Damn, there might be a little rain on Sunday. That's when I was planning on going.

 

So no restrictions, you just need to ware a dirty used infested helmet??? I think I maybe up for this.

Yup, that was me. I tried calling my insurance agent so they can verify I'm current, but, the office was closed. I was too pissed at myself so I just left.
