no disrespect then, my bad on my part...
im just saying not even you but alot of people especially i have encountered... ive been into cars since i was younger, bro exposed me to the import scene along time ago...
i grew up hard, involved in the gang life in the mid 90's in LA... so i grew up with the motto of "respect".... "even enemies can show respect"...
to me respect and loyalty is everything...
if you meet me now im just a normal happy guy you, not many people can imagine what my brother and i have gone through, especially all the BS... its a dead end life but people change...
its just funny not you but in general the lack of respect people have for each other especially on the internet and on car forums... (especially out of state aka out of reach)
violence doesnt solve anything but people on here love to **** off other people, i just despise how as a community of guys into the same things there is so much rivalry and competition within....
i can admit that Z guys are pretty much friendlier than the honda and supra guys i have experienced owning both of those cars in the past, i dont speak for all but some....
here's a funny yet true story....
my brother, friend and i was at one of the showoff shows a few years ago... we saw some asian younger kid with a fixed up car(im asian as well) but his car was nice, probably beyond his budget but why hate but come on the guy was wearing dickies, cortez.. blah blah the whole 9 yards basically swap meet clothes what i wore 13 years ago....
so he dogs me and my bro and other friend up and down.... we got annoyed but just didnt mind him... my brothers other friend who was watching from a distance and is sadly still "active" went up to him... was like
WHERE YOU FROM? the guy put down his head, my brother's friend lifes up his shirt and shows his bullet wound from a .380 with a huge scar down his chest to his stomach and was like "you never got shot before" i bet you never "even went to jail" ... "you're a fuccking joke.... quit fronting and trying to be someone you're not..... "
the kid obviously put his head down.... and people started laughing at him cause they hated him as well for acting all hard...
point is.... people act totally differently when confronted by someone who doesnt actually put up with it, whether you are/were from somewhere or arent from anywhere....
like people who get mouthy online not just this forum but in general, criticism is inevitable... depends just how people interpret it, im not saying im right or wrong just saying...
"treat others how you want to be treated"... and obviously if there is someone nutty enough there might even be consequences... not from me but just anyone in general. (even i try to watch out what i say)
its just "respect" all around how i see it...
if i put you on the spot i do apologize, and of course no disrespect... on your part or your gf who ive known for a while and is a good friend.
just a vent from things i do notice on my350z... like how everyone tore MR. X a new one a while back, so sad
