What dates are good for everyone?
THAT is IDEAL! How about Sunday March 30th?
Palomar has good parking and good wines....we could meet there, then taste at Falkner and have lunch there...ya?!?!?

There's already a huge cruise in the works for that date. See the related threads in this section.

Thanks for the post Coco.

As for a meet date, not to sure as there are a lot of meets coming up. I'm thinking Sunday, March 23rd. How does that date work?

March 30th could work, but as mentioned, there's a SD drive set up for that date.

Coco, how about you take charge on the meeting location. I'm not to familiar with the wineries.

What do you think about Thorton Winery? That was mentioned earlier in the thread.

Oh is that Easter...huh, didn't think about that.

We could do Saturday, March 29th.
Sunday, April 6th or the week after.

March 30th is the SD drive
April 5th is the performance Nissan meet.

FWIW I would prefer an early Saturday. And I can pretty much do any weekend.

I forgot about the gravel thing...I haven't been to any vineyards in So Cal before but up in Oregon you had to take dirt roads...which later turned into gravel to get to the parking lot. We might need a scout to find us a paved place to visit.

It is only very FEW parking lots (not any roads) that are gravel - so not really all that bad.

Happy to plan the meet up spot IF it is a weekend I can attend. Thornton is nice on the outside, never tasted the wines. That would be a nice adventure for me. I am a shareholder in Witch Creek Winery so I greatly enjoy trying new wines and checking out the competition. Maybe on the Fallbrook/Julian cruise some peeps may be interested in stopping at the WC tasting room. I'll post on that site if I can line up a special deal on a tasting.

Start at Thornton, then Long Shadow, then Falkner for lunch? We can discuss at the meet, but Ponte is also good for lunch (not so for tasting) as they have Sangria.

I'm good for Sat 3/29 IF I don't have to drive my mom home to the central coast - kick @ss wines as well! Otherwise Saturdays April 12 or 19.

Come on peeps - speak up with dates that work for you all!!!!! Will be so fun to meet and ride together! Let's pick a date!!!

Meet at 10am at Location
Thornton Winery
32575 Rancho California Rd
Temecula, CA 92589
(951) 699-0099
http://www.thorntonwine.com/winery-tours.html
for map!

Since it is Friday night 3/29 and no updates I'm sure it is safe to assume 3/29 is out.
Hey anyone - toss out some dates!!!!

Well this week they have that SD run and next week, the performance get together.

Either the weekend of the 12-13th or the 19-20th should be fine. Either Sunday or Saturday works for me, I'll let you pick. In fact, it be better if you take charge since you're more familiar with wines and the area than I am. I can still help coordinate things if need be.
