Default tire recommendations in SoCal

Hey guys

Moving from Seattle to San Diego. Currently runniing Potenza RE960 all seasons. But since its SoCal I'm thinking of getting some high-perf summer tires. Is that recommended? if so I'm looking at the following...

Potenza RE050
Potenza SO2A
BF g-Force T/A KDW TT
Falken FK-452
Dunlop SP Sport Maxx
Dunlop Sport 9000
TY Proxes T1-R
Mich Pilot Sport PS2
GY Eagle F1 GS-D3

thanks for the advice

if you can afford either of these, i don't see why you would consider the others.

I have Kuhmo Ecsta MX's and like them. John did a review on another brand here:

What size are you running?

If you're not a ricer and stick within the 18in range I say the Toyo Proxes R1R. But it's basically a R compound for street if tire wear is an issue.

i've ran on t1-r's and 452's. both are good daily tires and last pretty long (10-12k miles). they're afforable too.
ps2's are on a level of it's own.

The tires you've listed fall on different classes. If you want the best tires no doubt go for PS2's. If you wanna save money go for T1-R's.
Oh and also avoid Nitto 555s AT ALL COSTS. If you get those imma slash all 4 of your tires lol

whatever you do avoid nitto 555s. every other 'i crashed my z in the rain/on the wet ground' thread involves nitto 555s.
