Default Las Flores Cyn

Did a run through Las Flores Cyn on Sunday, wow I think it's better than Latigo Cyn. It has serious twisties and nice curvy straights. From Dukes through Las Flores Cyn, brief moment on Topanga Cyn followed by Old Topanga Cyn.

We need to try this out sometime.

I'm down, if my car is out of the shop. If not, I'll have to bust out the M3 fo yo ***.

I took a run on Angles Crest Hwy. I like that road at night, when there is no traffic. Good banked turns, lots of passing lanes. Only problem is, tons of bugs. What do you guys and girls think about that road? I heard there are allot of deaths from driving up there, is that true?

Haven't heard that. AC didn't seem too dangerous to me, not like Latigo. I've just heard 1) lots of cops, 2) rock chips like mad.

Are you coming on our AC run?

Yeah, let's do a run this weekend! I'm in. Who's organizing?

Okay, I guess we can do this on Saturday morning, say 10:00 a.m. for the OC/SD people. Meet at Starbucks on Ventura and Topanga Canyon.

We'll go down Old Topanga Canyon, a brief right on to Topanga Canyon then right on Fernwood. From there, it twists and turns through Las Flores and we end up infront of Dukes restaraunt where we can sip a few drinks and have some food. Then if we want, we can go back up Latigo Canyon.

Or we can go the other way, down Latigo Canyon, to Dukes then back up Las Flores. Either way, it will be an awesome canyon run.

Yeah, people have died on AC, that's why it's zero tolorance. It's mostly bikers from what I understand.

Julian, are you in? Your flight is at 2:30, enough time??

I'm in. Even if it's just me, hfm, bobo, and OC, it should be fun.

yeah, 2:30 flight will be pretty tight timing. if i have the porsche over your place, who's going to drive it back? or should i just ride in your car? are you gonna give me a ride to the airport?

meet 10am, done at 12:30, at the airport by 1:30... hmm

i always prefer the higher speed stuff like AC hwy, 45-55mph limits.
hfm - what's the speed limit on LF? hopefully more than latigo. too many blind turns for my comfort.

Someone always does.

Julian, the speed limit is 35 mph, there are hairpins where 15 mph really is 15 mph and there are places where you can get it into 4th at 45 mph+

So you can't change your flight, right?

B/c I wouldn't count on making the airport in 1 hour - going 101 S/E to the 405 S to LAX - the 405 is ALWAYS a bizatch, esp'lly on the weekends (all those people who want to get out of the Valley). It took me an hour to get from Studio City to Torrance for one of our clubbing meets on Saturday at 6 pm.

I might be in depending on what time I get back from Santa Barbara on Friday. Though I may do AC sometime this week a couple times... I'm on vacation and not really doing anything so. I will get bored and just drive most likely....hahah... like I always do.

YES I AM ALIVE!!! I have been feeling like going out or doing anything lately. Don't know what's wrong with me, I guess I'm just being lazy, hehe. Anyway, I miss all you guys and I want to hang out again. As I said before, if I'm not too hung over and willing to roll my *** out of bed to get ready, I'm in!
