Default Made a Boo Boo! Need advise for new Front Bumper!!

Hey guys,

I am in some deep thought this week and can use some advise. My front bumper recently kissed a guard rail and I need to get my self a new one. My insurance is covering $293 towards a new front bumper, of my choice. I have literally no money right now but Im trying to sell stuff to cover $$ for something nice. Now, the only down side is that my shop is going to charge me an additional $200 for anything not authentic and FRP(fitment/primer ect). I wanted to get the Nismo V3 but I dont have the money for the under diffuser and I am not sure it will go with my Nismo side skirts, and I'd get the V2 but its FRP and I'll get raped. I probably have around $500-$600 to spend tops. Any ideas??

Thanks
David

You should be fine with the V3. I have seen it with the nismo sides and it looks great. Plus that bumper is fairly cheap for being authentic and sturdy. A lip kit will cost just as much as that front bumper so its a good deal imo.

I'd go w/ the V3 aswell. It looks good and affordable. Anyone knows what vendors have them in-stock?

If you decided to go replica, i'd go w/ shine's stuff or you can buy my vertex replica frp front bumper (see forsale thread) that i can sell you dirt cheap lol...

Find another body shop, $200 additional sounds like they had bad experiences with some manufacturers and probably dont want to work with frp.

Ay bro, like I told ya at one of the irvine meets go with shine V2. I know that everyone has the V2 these days, but I have never seen it on a 07 yet, and I think it would just look nice with your setup.

I want to do shine, and I would totally go somewhere else, but I already had the insurance adjuster go out there and everything so I cant really go somewhere else. But I can always have him just do the stock bumper and just sell it right after its fixed....I dont know.

^just go pick up the bumper from where ever, and drop it off at your bodyshop. should be no problem, or you can have it delivered to your bodyshop, no biggie.
