Default Good stunt/fun driving Locations???

hey guys, are there any places in socal that where we can experiment/push our cars to the limit? For example, abandoned parking lots, airport runways, etc... I really want to mess around with my z but I cant find any good spots besides some twisty roads. Where do you guys take your cars?? I know I can go to the track, but im not looking to pay hundreds just to mess around with my car. Any suggestions?

Go to a local Auto-X event. They don't cost much and you can have fun legally.

Glendora Mountain Road.

Hah kidding. Like said before - track or autocross events are some of your only options. You could also look into a drift event (if you're looking to do that kind of thing). They usually have them at Irwindale and the El Toro air base every so often.

It sounds like you're looking for a place like I want too... free and fun. Haha. I tried the parking lot behind the Los Feliz Toys R Us at night, but security rent-a-cops went all crazy on me within 1 minute of messing around there.

Aren't there a lot of open/straight roads in Apple Valley? I recall residential speed limits being 45-55 or so, isnt it?

yeah, there are plenty of straight roads... but I just want a good amount of space so I wont fly off the road and wreck my car. There are times when I have pushed my car a little at night when there is nobody around but I chicken out. I just cant afford getting a ticket.

I am really interested into doing some autox. Ive watched a lot of youtube autox videos, looks like good fun. I can do $60 occasionally. Where are the best places to go for autox?
