*Z Meet & Canyon Run in June*
When: Saturday, June 21st
Where: Pasadena, CA
Time: 4:00pm
Our run will be going on Glendora Mountain! This is one of my favorite roads around. I’ve only driven on this road a few times and I have only seen a handful of other vehicles, and most of those were sports bikes. Besides the light traffic, this road has some absolutely amazing curves, twisties, and switchbacks. There really aren’t any straights up there, well just one short section to get your speed up. Glendora is all about the corners, and there are more than you can count. We’ll be meeting up at Azusa City Park in the parking lot on the Alameda Ave side from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. This is the address:
We will take San Gabriel Canyon Rd for the first leg up the canyon. This would be an awesome road but there is usually too much tourist traffic to really have fun. Once we reach the bridge, we'll take a right on to East Fork Rd. Again, this road would be great except for the traffic. And watch it here because there are a lot of tourists heading up to the river in the spring/summer. About 5.25 miles out on this road, we'll take the hairpin turn to the right and that will lead us onto Glendora Mountain Rd; the traffic ends and the fun begins. Just to let you know, this road is closed at night and may be closed during the summer if there are any large fires in the area so lets hope for the best in June.
Glendora Mountain doesn't look that long but due to the amount of curves and relatively slow speeds you maintain it does take a while to complete. With no other cars to deal with, we'll also get to enjoy the whole road from end to end. On the climb up towards East Fork Rd we’ll come to a "T" intersection, this isn't a bad place to pull off and take a break, we might be able to fit about 10 cars or so up there. More than likely we’ll just push on and finish off the drive, but if you want to stay behind for the view you’re more than welcome to.
After we get down Glendora Mountain, we’ll meet back up at Azusa City Park to make sure we didn’t lose anyone! Afterwards, for those who wish to hang out a little longer, we’ll be heading over to the Dave & Busters in Arcadia which is only a 10 minute drive away. This is the address:
I’ll be making reservations in the first week of June to give people enough time to decide if they’ll be joining the rest of us for dinner. So come on out, meet some fellow Z enthusiast, and just have a great time! If you want to go just copy the list below, add your name to it, and repost it.

It would be nice to see another Nismo on a run, so I'll try to go.
You mention light traffic though, but 4pm on a sat should be prime time for traffic on this road. I'm also a bit weary that you alerted the sheriffs about this. He's your former marine and all, but still. Anyhow, hope to see you there.

It would be awesome to see another Nismo bro... you have to go! I'm going to go hit up that mountain this Saturday at 4pm just to see if maybe I should change the times around a bit...
