Default would you go back

I had my car at Universal City Nissan (I know they suck) to get an oil change, fix the grease streaks on my windows and my tire preassure sensors have never worked so I wanted those fixed. So I drop my car off at 12:30. I get the call that my car is sort of done at 5:30. I arrive there to find out that they changed the oil, but they were unable to fix the window streaks because they needed to order a part, which they did. They then proceed to tell me that the performance model does not come with tire preassure sensors, so thats why mine don't work, and actually aren't even on my car, which I bought from there dealership. I started screaming at them about how they were wrong, so they call in a sales person to ask. He naturally agrees with them, so finally I get so frustrated that I walk over to where they have all of the Z's on the lot, find a performance model and show them where it says tire preasure monitors on the sticker in the window. They then appologized to me and told me that next time I come in for the windows they will fix everything and detail my car for free. Long story short it took them 4 and a half hours to do an oil change. So the question is do I go back simply for the free detail or say screw it and just go somewhere/anywhere else?

thanks for the advice. I was just wondering if a free detail is worth all of the hassel I will most likely have the next time I go there, if I ever do again.

NEVER let the dealer detail your car! they will swirl up your super black paint! not speaking from experience, but i've read a lot of dealer detailing horror stories at autopia.org. check out the site if you get the chance, lots of good info there.

It's just not worth it. I bought my car dirty, when the offered to wash it, I said no way. I will be the only one that will ever was that car.

Let's say you do let them wash it. When you get it back it has a nice stratch or ding in the door. What do you do then? It's basicly your word against theirs. Save yourself the trouble, detail the car yourself.

I agree with the others ... don't take it back. I wouldn't want them washing or detailing my car either. If they didn't even know that the perf. model comes with the tp monitors, who's to say they can get it fixed. Find a better dealership. Gool luck!

Default thanks for the advice everyone

well since its pretty unanimous that I should never go back, i guess my next question is where should I take the car from now on. I live right near the LaBrea Tar Pits, so anything within a reasonable distance I would consider. Thanks for the advice everyone.

well, I live in the Valley and for my last oil change I went to Torrance. 20710 Hawthorne Blvd.

A little far, but they're pretty trustworthy and reliable. I'm sure others will chime in.

They appear to suck, well I think tirepressure monitors are optional on lower models, dunno though, if they aren't on there, then they aren't on there. Take it back just because they already ordered the part for you window.
