Default front plate

Hey guys, just had a quick question about a front plate violation. Its 11pm and im in K-Town and someone told me i just got a ticket for no front plate. I washed my car and forgot to put it on... but thats besides the point. I was wondering if a parking enforcement officer (i really hate these people) give you a ticket for no front plate, can you still make it into a fixing ticket?

Have any of you guys ever tried getting a parking citation for no front plate changed into a fixing ticket? If you have, can you tell me how I could get that done?

Thanks in advance~

You take off your license plate when you wash your car????

Anyways....It should be a fixit ticket. I got one when they got me for a parking ticket. Rigged up my license and took it to the police station to get it written off.

Just slap that bish on and take it in....*thats if im mistaken and its not a fixit ticket?????*

They didnt leave you a ticket? I guess theyll mail it to you

I've been driving around with no front plates and avoiding the popo's on the road as much as I can control, but I didn't know they give you citations when parked. Dang, I gotta give in and improvise soon

Well, I think it was a fix it ticket, but I ignored it, and I ended up paying for it when I renewed my registration.

when parking enforcement gives you a ticket, it's not a fix it ticket... all you have to do is pay the fine, more of a warning... not as if LAPD pulled you over and gave you the "fix it" ticket, then you'd have to pay the fine and go to the closest CHP office to clear it off.

I got a no plate ticket from the meter maids (god, they're annoying and they ego trip as well which makes it worse..) while I was parked in hollywood in a dark and desolate street. You would think they would just pass it... HELL NO they wont... They are more hungrier to ticket you than the LAPD at end of the month... My ticket was only $30, whoever paid $77 must of been in downtown or on those streets that alternate direction at certain times of the day...

I've gotten the no front plate ticket from parking enforcement in k-town before. Its not a fix-it ticket. Just send in payment and you're done. Ticket should be for $25 and that's it. If its more then you're getting screwed my friend.

I avoid parking West Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Area. Either park in a private parking spot or a parking structure. Park outside and your guaranteed within 5 minutes a ticket.

Note: Kalifornia is in a budget crisis, expect those meter maids to be like flies on sh*t.

this is a tired out topic just like window tint topic is. you know you should have a front plate and you know you're not supposed to have your front windows tinted so be prepared for any tickets you may get if you're not following the law.

i'm going to look into rigging up one of those Z-brackets with some velcro for the ability to slap on/remove my front plate at will

anyone done this before?

Ya! It sucks. I just got a fix it ticket about 2weeks ago for not having my front plate. I just hate the idea of having to put holes in my bumper to put that front plate on
