Default I got ROBBED in Long Beach

Long story short. Was chillen at home and was bored. So i took out my mom's new/used car (E320 Benz) to the Game Play in Long beach off spring and palo Verde. Picking out DVD's and on the phone with my buddie. A guy in a hooded sweater comes to me and takes my phone. I look and see he has a 38 revolver in his right hand on the trigger.

The guys like "get on the ground and dont move". I'm on the ground and like saying to myself "AM I GOING TO MAKE IT THROUGH THIS" and then another dude zip ties my hands together. Then takes my wallet, car keys, also my phone. I never felt more hopeless in my life til this incident. Hope you guys never have to go through this.

They ended robbing the store and stealing 1 PS3, few PSP, games, and cash from the register. When your on the ground in my situation, it was like "Is,this Sh** really happening to me now".
I only have one set of key for the Benz since we got it used about 2 weeks ago and never got around making a copy yet. Just got the car tow to the house. Don't know what it's going to cost for gettin"g another laser key and getting it programmed.

What a night, bad place at a bad time.

I had a old license in my wallet of my old address. Most likely still change locks anyway.

first off you are lucky to still be alive, you never would expect to live through it if you actually experience it, when they got a gun in their hands and dont want anyone knowing anything, they tend to shoot crazily, secondly, they took your car keys, was the car near? if so i would have thought they'd try to hit the unlock button and see if any of the near by benz would flash, good thing they didnt take it. and yes, change all the locks, and be aware and on the look out at all times.

Dang Peter, that's a crazy night you had. Glad that you come out unhurt and unviolated. Economy is bad, robbery rate most likely will increase. Be safe out there!!

What time of day/night was this?

Sucks to be a victim but it happens. Glad to hear you didn't get hurt.

Expect things to get worse everywhere within the next 12-18 months as folk's disposable income drys up with the job market and young urban street pharmacist start to lose business and look into other ventures for income.

Be careful.

they had my phone on for about 30min. I have the blackberry curve with GPS. When the cops tried to track it, it was off. The robbers left a lot of prints everywhere in the store thoe. I also had some games in my had at the time and when one of the robbers took it from my hand. Think it may have prints, but don't know anything yet.

damn man I can't even imagine that kinda **** happening to me. I don't know what I'd do. I'd like to think I would go ape **** and beat the guy to death but reallistically i would probably just lay there and beg for mercy. Glad you weren't hurt.

Hey Peter, sorry to hear that happened to you but luckily you're not hurt and most of the stuff that was taken can easily (and hopefully, cheaply) be replaced.

I've been meaning to hit you up to hang out with you since I haven't been to your place in awhile.

Let me know when you might be available to hangout, even on a weekeday.

Once again, glad to hear you are okay.

(Wishes Cali had a more open CCW law which may or may not have helped in the situation)
