Aw man that sucks.. I don't understand people and lack of respect for others property. My girlfriend's mom got a new 3 series BMW not too long ago and didn't hardly have it 2 weeks and some asshat keyed it..
As for the dent, I'd just try and find someone that does paintless dent repair as stated above. I've been around it a little and around here they usually charge something like $50 a dent, but it also depends where it's at. Anyway, good luck, and yea I'm one of those paranoid people like you.. haha
