I am suppose to have plans with my girl tonight, but my phone wont call or text out. I have been getting texts and notifications of VM every once and a while, so I figure its a service issue.

I'm in SFV and have seen like 4-5 AT&T commercials since the phone stopped working....

Anyone else? I can tell she is getting annoyed from the texts...lol

I have an iphone replaced for the sidekick slide and lately besides the dropped calls , i get my bars replaced by a no service text. and that will last for a good 5-10 minutes. i used to have tmobile FTW no issues with them at all, dont know much on whats the deal with ATT. sorry to hear about your date just send her a pigeon .......will probably get there before ATT does :P

 

I have an unlocked Nokia 8801...was working when I left work, but when a VM came through without the phone ever ringing, I started getting the errors...

 

Edge service was lagging earlier this morning (1st gen iPhone) only thing i noticed, but everything is fine now.

Try turning your phone off and on.

 

Yeah, tried turning it on and off a few times. Nothing seems to work. Although, I've been getting more "network busy" errors rather than "error connecting" errors, which seems a bit better...maybe?

At least I've been able to text my girl from verizons website...haha, "geezus, not ignoring you, phone is f'd up!"

 

1st Question... how do you even manage to press the buttons on the 8801...

as for yours, I used AT&T for years and it's been good to me so far... had some problems after their merge with Cingular but uh... good still. I have the good o blackberry though

just confirmed with 611 that there is network outage in LA area... no ETA either!

 

OUCH!! outage!?!? dammit i'm on call.. lol..

but yeah.. i had a sk3 with tmobile with little to no issues... and now i moved to cingular for better reception. the funny thing is that my metro pcs phone has better reception than the cingular lol

 

I am a dealer for ATT and they are doing a lot of updates to their towers now. because of the 3G network.

hmm i live in san diego and i rarely have any problems with my 3g iphone. curious to see how it is during my trip to vegas during new years.

 

My voice services were in roaming status until about 10:30 last night. Wierd thing is my BB services still worked??

 

my mom's iphone has been dropping every single one of her calls since like... last friday. it's completely shitty.

 

Tell her to take it back to an Apple store and replace it. I've read there was a bad batch of iphones that have troubles holding calls. The person got his 3G iPhone exchanged and restored with his setting at no charge.

Just a thought...
