Its def not a battery issue. It's either vaccum or sensor.

well get some sensor cleaner and clean out the connectors and check them to make sure they all look ok. The main problem with this is that it could be a number of things. If cleaning the connectors dont work, then replacing the throttle body itself seems to be the next step. I just looked through the factory service manual. But before you go out an buy one, i would again see if you can find one from a friend or something and see if that solves the problem

Thanks Scope I am trying to do the less costly steps first and then moving towards replacing the TB, but that will be my last resort.

Where is the TB Sensor? I know its on the TB but where and how do you clean it? I have seen the video on cleaning the TB on a G35, which seems to be the same as for a Z.

yep, its the same. not different at all. VQ is a VQ. So ya. Give that a go and clear the codes cause you already know what they are and see if it throws the same code again.

Update, just wanted to give a thanks to Brian. He came back to diagnose the car, he and his cousin changed the plugs and she wouldn't start. We decided to change the TB, we were fortunate enough we found one used locally. He installed it, I go to turn on the car and nothing, before I get out Brian says try it again......she starts up without a hitch just a big puff of smoke from the mufflers due to the gas in the engine. Test drove her and she runs like a champ. Thanks once again to Brian for taking time out of his day to help a fellow Z brother out.

Congrats...

Noob question....what's a TB?

**Forget it...figured out it was the throttle body**

Didn't know the throttle body had a sensor...
