I plan on buying a new stud at nissan and replacing them but are there any so cal guys here who know a good reliable shop that can do it for a fair price? i really dun trust the nissan dealers near my area... shady and a rip off. and if anyone had this done b4 how much did they charge? thanks and much appreciated

I kinda have the same issue and i thought that i found a shop to do it but they wanted to blow torch my rim, so i said F that and i am on the hunt again. i have the same issue but the lug nut is on and cannot be removed because the stud is spinning, so i cant remove my rim..... anyone know how or who can do that without placing too much damage on the wheel?
BTW sry to thread jack but we got the same problem and i figured it would be coo.

No blow torch, just get a pneumatic drill and some different size bits. You're going to have to drill into the stud until lugnut can come off easily. If you have patience and take your time, you wont damage your wheel.
If you're not to sure on doing it yourself, I can refer you to the shop that did it for me, but they're all the way in the I.E.

i just bought the stud for less than 3 bux at nissan. talk about cheap. looks like shops around here charge from 40 50 bux and the dealership charges 100. sounds about right... dealers always gotta double the small places. now i gotta buy another set of lugs just for one stupid stripped one and carry around 2 keys... argh.
