yeah you wont be covered for that. its stupid because i saw the tech work on my car, took about 10 minutes.

its a simple enough job to do, with a jack and basic tools.

undo the axle nut, undo the axle from the diff
grease the outer joint flange with Molykote M77
rebolt it back up.

new bolts/nuts/washers/cotter pins cost about $30.
