Best/Cheapest Paint shop in SOCAL to repair keyed door and front quarter panel
In the fall some aholes keyed up my drivers side door and part of my front drivers quarter panel. Finally got some funds rolling in around Feb. 1 and am going to get it repaired. It will need to be sanded and repainted, Maaco quoted 500, but that seemed high and im unsure how good a job they would do. I live in Orange County and am looking for a place either in LA or OC to get the work done. Anybody know any good spots? Trying to balance price and them doing a good job. Any help would be appreciated!

I would NEVER trust Maaco with my Z. And in my opinion, going the cheapest route is not always the best. I'd gladly pay a little more to have the job done right the first time. Call Makito at 7 Apple....from what I hear, they do excellent work there. Located in the LA area

Hey I know alot of good shops here in Costa Mesa. I live in the area too and needed work done close by since my z is my dd. Anyway Richards Paint and Body is EXCELLENT!! Everytime I'm there they have porsches, lotus, and ferarri's they work on. Hutchensons is EXPENSIVE but i know they would do a good job. If your thinking of the Maaco in costa mesa, I advise you NOT go. They have had many complaints. if you need more help let me know I live in the area.
I do know another guy that painted my hood for 100 bucks on the scion i used to have. he also painted and got a new rear bumper for me when i got rear ended in it for about 500 bucks. It was "Billy's paint and body" I'm not sure if he's still around.

+1 on M1. Idk how they had the best price and made my car look so nice. Paint quality is awsome and they realyl know how to repair the body back to OEM. I had the corner of my fender(where it meets the frotn bumper) bashed in adn I had another shop fix it for 250 bucks and it looked a little better but still looked horrible. I have M1 a chance at it for 200 and it looks just like OEM. Can't wait to go back for my rear
