i got pull over by cop yesterday about modified exhaust fix it ticket.
i have nismo cat-back exhaust , i told him this is legal for 49 state but the cop doesn't care about what i have on my car , and it was 6:20 pm ........... he only said if this is legal they will(CHP) cancel my ticket..
i have one concern i have the header, do they gonna check under my hood since i gonna appeal about that ticket..?

 

depends which code look it up. If anything, throw a silencer in there, have CHp noise test it and your off.

did he really pull you over because of the exhaust? or is there more to the story?

 

yea cuz the nismo exhaust looks kind of like the stock exhaust

 

show them proof and they will sign off. I doubt you'll get in trouble for your headers. The engine bay of the VQ is so tight i doubt they will even see them.

no just for the exhaust ..and right after cop give me a ticket he pull over other driver.

 

maybe hes trying to reach a quota? or hes just an idiot harassing people..
