Thumbs down West Covina Nissan, Thumbs Down!

THIS IS WEST COVINA NISSAN and NOT PERFORMANCE NISSAN SORRY ABOUT THE CONFUSION.

Went to West Covina Nissan to get the rear axle fix. Everything went well, they covered it under warranty. However when I was talking to Rob to get my TPMS reset. After everything was "done" he LIED stated that they reset it and that "the wheels might be too wide" for the TPMS to work. Why dont they say they didnt do it instead of me finding out the hard way. But I then went to a local Nissan dealership to have it reset and they reset it with no problem, quickly and easily... TPMS light is gone.

Mikey 1st post says he's talking about West Covina Nissan....
But I agree Performance Nissan Duarte FTW!

BTW OP, you might want to change your title...I don't remember anyone ever calling West Covina Nissan Performance Nissan...

i didnt mean to call it performance nissan, i was thinking that and typed an error, changed. anyways i am debating whether or not to take it to west covina nissan for an oil change. i usually do my own oil changes but for $45 for a complete motul change, that is pretty good. will any other dealership match that?

i actually live in oxnard, but go to school out in orange county. thats why i went to team nissan.

West covina nissan has a bad habit of lying to customers.

I simply asked htem not to wash my Z, but of course, they did wash it and instead of coming clean, they made up a BS excuse about "dusting" the car to check for "paint flaking."

Now obviously I can tell when my car has been washed because there was water in the door sills and on the windows when you roll them down and back up. Washing the car when I told them wasnt that big of a deal, it was the fact that they chose to LIE instead of be honest.

I took my Z to Performance Nissan in Duarte and had a MUCH better experience. The staff there were very honest and friendly to me.

kinda curious how do they reset the TPMS? Is removing it from the rims require or do they just plug it in to the valve stem? I really need to get mine reset and hopefully for a reasonable price.

We will match their prices as long as they still have an advertisement for this special.

They have this small scanner that detects it wirelessly. It cost me about $60 for them to reset my TPMS, that was a year ago.

Thanks for the info. Wow just to wave a small scanner they charge $60. I remember WCN tried to charge me $100 something. I guess I need to shop around or hopefully someone who would do it for free locally.
