Hey guys.. some of you might remember a couple of days ago, that a father went to go check his mail with his son (chino hills)when out of nowhere he was strucked and killed by a car that didn't even think twice to stop and sped away. The man that was killed by the hit and run driver works in our IS department in the hospital. This is so sad that people can just drive away without and concern for someones well being.




It is with great sadness that PIH and the Information Solutions Department announce the death of devoted Network Engineer Rich Bohannan.







Rich was killed by a hit and run driver outside his home in Chino the evening of April 14th. Rich leaves behind his wife Michelle and sons Cody and Kyle.



Rich joined the IS staff in 2006. Among the many projects he was involved with, he most recently led the upgrade of the Cisco Call Manager to version 6.0 and headed the installation of the Cisco VoIP telephone system at the La Mirada Campus at the end of March.



Without Rich's skills and dedication, PIH would not have accomplished many of the things we have over the past three years. Hard working, family oriented and highly devoted to whatever he was doing, Rich was a role model for many of the PIH staff. He will be deeply missed by everyone.



A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life Reception will be held this Saturday, April 25th.

 

Sorry to hear about this. He sounds like a good guy. I hope they catch his killer.

 

sorry to hear that totally sucks, it was like a few weeks ago when 2 USC students got hit and run by some infiniti and the passenger had the nerve to come out and pull the individual off the hood and boneout.... i heard the chick got caught the next day but im pretty sure the dood did too shortly after...

this society honestly has gone down the shiitter

 

^ the dood got caught yesterday. he was trying to enter back into the united states from mexico. got him at the boarder. now he's in jail awaiting trial. heard on the new this morning.

op, sorry to hear about that. chino hills is close to where i live. hope they catch the hit-n-run driver. totally sad.

they found the guy that hit him the other day. It was one of the teens from their block, 18yo... The son recognized the car that hit his father. Sucks.. the mother lost her job earlier in the month too..

young and dumb.. i hope that kid gets rapped by a big black guy.
