Smile Seeking audio installer - 626

Hey guys,

well i recently bought a indash from a wazhucks. we met up and he gave me acouple good pointers i felt that i could do it. But waking up this morning made me think twice, since i never really worked with the electronics of the Z. i'll rather have someone with more experience to do it. (better piece of mind) ...let me know guys if you can help out and how much you'll charge (remember our economy...lol)

i'm located in City of industry, ca 91746

ohhh yeah. The head unit should be plugNplay and have all the wiring needed. let me know guys,

Lol give it a try! I believe john bronze does some audio install since it's super easy he shouldn't charge much at all. Either that or you can look at the socal shops I posted a shop called audio excellence and they are really near you! However they probably will charge 40 dollars for a 20 minute install

yeah.. i was about to start on it this morning, and i was looking at the diy on how to take it out.. but then i thought to myself.. hMMm.. what if something goe wrong... what if i fry my ecu somehow.. then i got paranoid and yeah.. lol.. i'll check the shop you said.. $40 isn't bad for a piece of mind ya know

nate... dood, it's not that hard if all the wiring is there and ready to go. i have a single din pioneer also and it was not bad at all... just have to do it. lol... just watch out for the cable for the center cluster that is clipped to the plastics in the top middle portion of the center dash.

it's easy. Just order the wiring and the metra dash kit.

nate if you need help or something, just pm me bro.

you have to figure out the wiring harness and what color goes with what to the harness for the new deck. then it's just plug in and enjoy... you hooking up any subs or amps?? or just runnin stock speakers?

i used to do this a few years ago. what i remember you buy the wiring harness neaded and plug into the harness from the back of the radio then match the wires from rhe back of the deck (radio) to the wires on the harness you brought, well match them 1st then plug it in, shouldnt be too hard from what i remember

it was a plug and play for the harness.. but then no sound came out lol.. i called jeff for some help.. he gave me some pointers but still no sound and just gave up on it last night lol

thanks for the help tho jeff

any pointers guys? if anything i'm just going to go to a audioshop. lol

If anyone knows how to install an HU without losing the voice of the OEM navigation, i'd be willing to drive for an install.

when i was in 626 i went to a place called Long's Autosound. Its a smaller place so he charges really appropriate amounts its on San Gabriel heading south right past Garvey on your right hand side
