Default Race Legal Qualcomm Stadium

So has anyone raced at qualcomm stadium? I havent been there in a long time and even then I only went to watch. I know its only 1/8 mile drag's but just want to try it out. So I wanted to know how hard is it to pass inspection? Anyone have experience there with any car in general?

inspection is a breeze, they just make sure the car is working properly, and not hazardous on the track to you and others. I haven't taken my Z, but i have taken my old civic a few times and it was a blast. I stopped going after i heard stories of cops keeping track of the racers and catching them at a later time, not to mention the stress the track puts on the car. It would be fun to roll with a bunch of Zs though

I was actually thinking about taking my civic too but not sure now that u said that. Well my swap is bar'd so I guess it's not as bad. At the same time I've never pushed my Z so... Il wait and see that day but yeah a bunch of Z's there would be sick.

I use to race there all the time with my 91ttz and turbo prelude. Just be careful at the end of the track if your turboed that concrete wall comes up very very quickly right after the finish line. I was thinking about going again but i havent been there in a few years and heard about the cop thing.

Remember you need a helmet and current insurance to race

well I suck! Lost to every mustang I went up against. Beat a couple civic's and a golf. Lost to an RX8 cuz I forgot to take off the traction control, I felt like suck an ***, LOL. Then at the end I went up against a TT 300ZX and lost. I don't care though it was a lot of fun and I will go again!

They didn't ask me for insurance though, just my license and registration. Inspection took forever though. I was waiting in line for two hours! but the actual inspection itself took like 5 minutes.

Q: Lately, I have been seeing uniformed San Diego Police officers at the RaceLegal.com events. Are they spying on us?

A: As our popularity has grown, so have the potential for problems. Any time you gather 350 racers and more than 3,000 spectators in one place, you have to be mindful of the safety and security of the attendees. Your safety is our fundamental priority, and having uniformed police officers to augment our own event security staff is one more way to ensure that the environment remains safe for everyone in attendance. RaceLegal to top
according to RaceLegal.com lol

Dont even worry about it, there is always going to be a stock civic running drag tires and nos that will hand your *** to you because he gets crazy traction and you cant. At least you can drive home comfortably afterwards . My friends stock civic si with street drag tires and racing clutch would always pounce on most people just because of traction. 1/8 isnt long enough to catch up for us.

I saw a old aerostar mini van running a corvette motor beat everyone that night one time, now that was funny

I used to go there a lot back in 03-04 with my sentra SE-R spec v. I've only taken the Z once and it was back in like 06 or 07. I suck at launching RWD, S/C doesnt help either. It was fun, I would go again. I need to practice launching anyway.
