Default Huntington Beach Nissan

Has anyone bought their 350z from Huntington Beach Nissan? I went there and the sells manager seemed like he was trying to ******** me with numbers saying he's never seen a 350z, even a base, go for under $35,000. I just laughed. He also said the 6spd to auto ratio is like 1:8. I really doubt there are more autos for the 350z than there are 6spds. He said its "SOO hard to find a 6spd."

Who bought their z from this dealership and wut model did u get, wut was the otd price, and wut was ur down, and wuts ur interest rate and monthly payment?

probably 50 Nissan dealers within 1 hour's drive can give you a better deal than that dude.

If you can't find a dealer that will give you a righteous deal, try http://www.mossynissan.com/list.asp?model=350z

Mossy Nissan in SD county is below MSRP.

what was his name or did you talk to the fleet manager?
I bought mine there a no problems and they went the extra mile to get me the car and base I was looking for no markup they even let me drive the car where they located back to the dealer soooo not sure whats going on with your situation unless the old sales staff has changed completely. A+ experience for me.

The only thing he told you that is even halfway true is that it is hard to find a 6 speed. If you check the dealer inventory on nissan's website, you will notice most of the cars in stock are autos.

HB is the biggest BS of a nissan dealer i have ever experienced, even miller is a better place to buy a car. I call them looking for a base/enth 6spd in any color. They call back and tell me they have a white base 6spd coming in. I drive 45 mins to get there from the valley, I see i believe Sara the fleet manager. SHe tells me ok u can test drive the black one its the exact same car as the white one that is at their other lot or whatever. Im like ok sure why not, I see that the black one is an auto i ask her hey is the white one a stick or auto, she says she dont remember but is it going to make a diff? Im like um yea it will. So we go inside and yup turns out the white one is an auto. She ask why do i want a stick, and i was actauly very polite and tell her its just my personal preference in those exact words. The she turns on at attitude and ask oh why am i gonna race it? So she some how magically finds a white in stick, but says she has to charge a mark up since its coming from AZ and i again i dont know why im still polite at this time but i calmly tell her that ive been looking for a few days now and all the other dealers are not chargeing a mark up and performance nissan is even willing to work on the price a bit if u are on my350z, by this time a few other sales men or whatever they are have now joined us in the office. One on them again with this sort of attitude says well WE charge a markup. After that i got fed up and stood up and said thanks for wasteing my time and left. If you ever drive by the dealership, u will see that all he salesmens are just standing in front waiting like vultures.
I ended up buying at First Nissan in Simi and my experience was the complete opposite, they actually were friendly. My belief is you are only going to get a small amount off MSRP o will be buying at sticker. None of this markup BS, so if i were going to buy a car at sticker or for very lil off the salesmen and the dealer better be damn friendly to me and make me feel welcomed, cause they just made a nice lil pay check off of me.

I remember WAY back when the preorders started... I went over to HB Nissan and they were one of the "crook" dealers asking $5k over sticker and $2k deposit.

I agree. Universal City Nissan is a punch of A-holes. I just spoke to them and they said they've never sold a car for close to MSRP.

The fleet manager said she " Doesn't have to sell the Z at such a low price, there's no need to. " She got about 7 04's on the lot while MOSSO NISSAN has 17 05's on the lot. If I were her, I'd try to get rid of all my 04's.

maybe its all the hype from POWER106

Huntingto Beach Nissan is one of the worst dealer. Everyone there ******** alot. One of the manager tried to fool me to sign an leasing contract. Luckly, I used to work in the dealerships before, and I smell somthing fishy, so I just walk up and leave.

South Gate Nissan is a good place to go. Their General Sales Manager Juan is cool to deal with.

Don't forget Cerritos Nissan. Those people are definitely crooks with a capital "C"!!!

They'll lie to your face and then when you call them on it, they'll go into serious denial. Avoid them at all costs. IMO, they're just as bad as Universal; maybe even worse.

I bought my z and altima from Torrance Nissan, which is decent but I'd go with Performance Nissan next time around.

Add my vote to the worst, and possibly most dishonest dealership around. Since I live nearby, I tried Douglas Nissan (HB) first when I was looking for a DB touring a year ago last March. The sales manager there was so bad it really was a joke. I'm not an idiot so I played him like a violin for over a week -- just egging on his asinine claims and promises to see just how far he would go lying (futher then even I had thought possible).

I ended up going far, far away for the car I wanted but it was worth every mile driven to just show up at that dealership with it and ask him if it was the one they had "swapped with another dealer and were delivering tomorrow." Since it was the only DB with that equipment listed on Nissan's inventory in all the western states

BTW, their service department is clearly managed by a whole different team. I have to give them credit for handling the rear hatch opening and feathering problems very quickly and painlessly but, buy a car there? Not on your life! I'll add my vote for Performance.

I bought a 04 base model from Preformance Nissan. 4 months ago and I paid way under 28K.. way under. What's nice .Performance can" fully mod" the car with all the goodies and finance the whole package install, parts and car plus give you a very fair if not killer deal.

Sky's the limit there.

HKS and Stillen Superchargers now being installed

I agree Douglas Nissan HB was the worst had a deposit and and signed contract for a delivery veh which they decided to sell to another customer for a higher $$....which I would have been fine with, except they would not come clean with me always telling me that my delivery date was pushed back..checked in Nissan's database was able to verified in service date of veh and where it was so from (had vin since I had a bogus contract)
