Default How do you get rid of front camber wear?

I'm really tired and frustrated how uneven tire wear I get in the front.

Is there anyway to correct this? Is there such a thing as a front camber kit?

Is this just a case of bad alignment? I don't even drive that car that hard to expect this kind of wear.

I'm thinking of getting new front tires soon and I want to do it right.

Thanks guys!

New last Sept. 2008 / Dropped on only Tanabe GF210s

I have GF 210's too and the guy was able to get the front back in spec..
Sh*t is your inside all bald?

Ohhhhh yes there's front camber kit, it's about 3x more expensive than rear camber kit though.

BJ the only thing to combat uneven tire wear for good is to make sure your toe is correct, and that you set your camber specs close to 0, but imho 0 camber looks like doo doo on our cars.

If you don't immediately have the cash to pick up a set of camber arms I suggest that you flip your front tires asap to get the most life out of your tires. IE left tire on right, and right on left, so that the outside will than be the inside on both sides.

If you have the money pick up a brand new set of SPC front camber arms, they are the ones that will get you to 0 with your drop. It is critical that you get them new because they come with spacers that help the camber arms out.

Also if you need an alignment done right hit me up, and I'll give you the contact. The dude I use mainly works on time attack cars, so he knows his stuff, and his prices are legit.

You know where I'm at, so if you need any more help/info just lmk, and if anything else I'll see ya next month.

Thanks Andrew! I'll hit you back about the shop.

I was actually thinking of going to West End Alignment in Gardena once I get new tires. Heard good things about them.

And yeah, I forgot to flip'em. tsk!
I was told to flip them in and out at around 3k miles or something incase there's not front camber kit yet. And yeah, I just googled the front kit and its pretty expensive.

FYI some people did not have to get front camber kit when lowered on GF210's as mechanics were able to adjust their toe back to spec. It's either a hit or miss. Toe is the culprit for uneven tire wear, not so much camber.

depends on the firestone and who's doing the alignment. they sometimes give you a bullshiet story because the guy doing the alignment donno shiet. get it done right... none of that firestone stuff.

toe can be adjusted within specs without any aftermarket parts in the front. the camber is the non-adjustable element in the front, you need an adjustable upper a-arm. they are kinda expensive tho.
