Def. not smart buddy...

Even if you do end up getting it, it will end up being a Porsche Civic because you won't be able to afford any of the truly reasonable Porsche mods and it'll just look wierd with cheap parts... You can't go cheap with a Porsche!!!

I'm giving you tough love so you don't **** up! hahaha

There's nothing wrong with a stock GT2. And some nicely modded ones out there for sale too.

The 996 GT2 is a great car, but personally I'd rather have a newer 911. A 997S or preferably a 997.2 if it's in your price range.

I know a lot of Porsche owners down in OC. If you want me to set something up so you can find out more, shoot me a PM. My father-in-law is down there and an owner and member of the Porsche Club.

my pops owns a porsche carrera which i do drive at times honestly the maintenance is stupidly ridiculous and if you do have the money to throw around especially on it for being your daily driver then thats awesome...

oilchanges are roughly $300+ and our "would be $30k mile service" was $1300... so yeah that is definitely something to think about and for modding this car you cant go cheap and put some ghetto *** wheels or bootleg exhaust on it either ...

good luck and post pics if you do get it
