^ LOL monkie.
Palm springs has two very good steak houses. One of them is called "LG's Steakhouse"
I believe, and it's more of a romantic style setting.
As for the other steak house which is across the street, I think?
Is more of a chilled back/fun environment.
Kind of expensive though.
Have a great Vday bro.

Yea, L.G.'s is very good but not cheap. It's like a Ruth Chris or Mortons.
You might look at palmsprings.metromix.com for some ideas. It's got a lot of things to do and places to eat and party that younger people would like. You better make reservations now if you want to go to one of the fancier restaurants.
If you're into hiking or the natural desert scenery there are the Indian canyons at the south end of Palm Springs. It's $8 / person but has great views and a stream with large palm trees running along it. They have a website with more info (indian-canyons.com).
Of course there's the Spa Casino at 401 East Amado downtown. It's just like Vegas if you like that.
In Palm Desert to the east there's a large street fair/farmers market at College of the Desert 7am-2pm.
Hope this helps.

I worked out in Palm Springs for a couple of years and SSAWA gave some great advice. You can also take a trip down the 111Hwy and take in the sites. Turn around when you get to Indio though. Have some sites ready to go before your trip and don't decide last minute. You gotta ride the tram up the mountain in PS too. GL bro.
