Default OC peeps with HKS + HFC (LOOK HERE)

I'm getting my HKS installed on monday and will have megan racing test pipes on for temp for awhile. Will be looking to get some new HFC in awhile and want something that isn't going to be absurdly loud and I would like no rasp at all if possible. Kinetix hfc are decently priced and they say no rasp. Would like to be able to hear some local peoples setup who have HKS along with some sort of HFC or even TP if you think they would work for me. Thanks for any help/input

Stillen hfc or Crawfords HFC.

Engine sounds going to be different depending on engine mods and MT or AT setup.

Your setup should sound loud at low to high revs.

+1 on the Crawford HFC's...they have more elements than most HFC's so they won't rasp like the other one's...I had them on my car...

I have some brand new set of Crawford HFC's for sale if you're interested, I'll give you a good price...

I'm leaning towards either Crawford HFC or Motordyne ARC pipes.

got my hks exhaust installed with megan racing test pipes. Got the megan racing tp for $50 so using them for now. I'm debating HFC because my exhaust isn't that loud right now, I don't think I would want it any quieter.

^ I agree. I replaced my H pipe with an X Pipe on my HKS True Dual. It has eliminated the rasp and has helped to keep my exhaust a bit quieter.

I love how my setup which I have had for only a day gives no drone, I thought it would have been much louder. I may just stick with what I have now. I have a little rasp but not much

What is your definition of extremely loud? Are test pipes paired with hks really that loud? How much louder would it be with hfc? I feel like the exhaust by itself is pretty quiet. Only when you stomp on the pedal does it get a little louder....

I did the same thing with my hks when I had my Z. i had a section cut out and installed a magnaflow xpipe and got flamed pretty hard for it.
