there is not a dealer in the country I would take my car to be serviced at
(except maybe fontana) - so why not rephrase...
"is there a great independent shop i can have a major service performed
at?"
just trying to save you a headache.

**** Mossy in Kearny Mesa, went to have my car realigned. They couldn't realign my car because I had put JIC coilovers. The manager said that I could come back anytime to have it done for free since I already paid for it. Went in a few days ago since I installed rear Camber Arms and they wanted to charge me for the service and the manager said he doesn't remember anything. And the dealership in Poway is a joke, they wanted to charge me 25 dollars more to have another key made when I bought my car then any of SD dealership.

I always go to 'Cars Automotive' on poway road, by the nissan dealership :P. It can be a bit pricey, but they know their stuff. Bunch of good guys over there, they dont even charge me anymore for checkups and minor tuneups. Plus I've seen some monsters in their garage before, so they know their stuff. Drooled all over a 650+ rwhp DD mustang not to long ago.

Hello Dome P2,
I have purchased my Z at Mossy Nissan in Escondido. I go there for servicing due to warranty.
I live 1.2 miles from Mossy Nissan Oceanside; but drive 12.1 miles for the better service.
They are reasonable with prices.
I will be going in for my 30k service next week.
I hope this helps,
Lboy06.
