Default Need Someone to Press Bearing

Hey guys, I'm looking for someone to press my z's rear bearing onto the hub.

If you happen to own or know someone with the tool, I will give you or them cash of course.

I will be working on my z this Saturday.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks.

Lets just say that my z was dumped and I ran over a mouse. That is how it all happened.

My left rear driving side bearing got f'dup. When driving the z a roaming wind tunnel noise echos the inside of the car followed by a clicking noise outside of the z. When lifting the the z in a jack, there is play on the wheel. Replacing the bearing should fix the problem.

Dude is it like a whistling noise inside the car? I think I have the exact same thing on my car.

You might want to take your car to a shop to get a confirmation of the problem. You could raise your car on a jack and with the wheels bolted tightly onto the hub, shake the wheels with your hands and if you see play (as if it is loose) the bearing could be messed up.

I would advise you to take your car to a specialist to make sure.

.

I plan on jacking it up today and giving it a good shake tonight after work. Luckily there is no pressing to be done on a Lancer Evolution bearing, you just replace the whole assembly, but I need to dermine if it's front or rear. It makes sense that the bearing is bad because I went on a really rough canyon run just before I started noticing the sound. Also, I hear the noise at lower speeds but only when turning to the right.

sounds like a wheel bearing. It makes like a humming noise right? and when you turn right it only makes the noise on the tire that does not have as much weight being transferred to? If it is most likely a wheel bearing.

damn roger how low is your car lol
