It's a known fact that it's going on everywhere in Ca but how far can the state go? Can one be cited on the spot for visual check failures such as TP and ART pipes? Hear they go as far as raising cars on dynos on spot. Can't find any definitive answers on the net. Anyone actually been cited?

I had my car visually inspected by a CHP officer during a stop in which my exhaust was too loud. I was cited due to vacuum lines being disconnected.

 

they are allowed all the way into the passenger area, and can insert 2 digits into your body as well.
If they can get em in there.

BY scanning the above listed links ( Smog ***** etc) , this is indeed one of the reasons i love living in AZ ....and simply visit CA on the weekends.
