Default Bummer

Well, it looks like I'll be going solo from OC. Maybe I'll meet up with some people along the way?

Well, we worked on my new engine all week and fired it up last night.... BOOM! Seems even we make mistakes and installed one of the new cams 180 degrees off! Today we jump on the car, rebuild it all to get it ready for DYNO day and we fired it up at 6:00pm tonight. Well it sounds nasty and idles mean.... but now it has a friken water leak! It's a $1.00 metal gasket at the back of the head and no way to fix it until the part comes in.... TUESDAY!! So with Jason's car wrecked, and mine a dead player.... we won't be coming tomorrow. SORRY, we were really looking forward to it.

Jeff, does this mean we'll see the tiger growl this saturday?

So where are the 350z dyno results? Someone kept track of the results, right??

Well, I don't know about all the other cars.. but mine made 239 hp with nothing else but a K&N drop in filter and grounding kit. I know it's not a lot, but I'm happy with that as a base.

Fired her up and drove her on Sunday.... not impressed! My butt dyno said I lost alot of low end power!! One the plus side, this thing pulls VERY HARD from 4000rpm till I bounce it off the rev limiter at 7200rpm. We will see what the dyno has to say about this.
