You can also PM the person and ask him about the rim...

I have to disagree a bit... "IP Address = Owned" 95% of the time. 99% of the time if you have a contact within the carrier/provider.

Wow, so the guy steals wheels and then post them f/s on a 350z website with over 154 thousand members a week later.

The stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me; although I guess if he had any brains whatsoever he would not need to take things from other people.

Ok this is how it went down.

The guy who posted my wheels up for sale DIDN'T steal my rims. He bought them off of the guy who actually stole them. He bought them about a week ago from a guy off of graigslist. The guy who bought them off of the guy who stole my rims still has the name, number and storage unit address of the guy who stole my rims. Waizz and a friend of mine acted as potential buyers, I didn't want to PM the guy because my screen name would blow my cover because if this was the guy who actually stole my rims he would be spooked away) starting this morning trying to get information out of this guy because at the time we didn't know if this was the guy who stole my rims, or just a just a guy who bought them off of the guy who had stolen them. I alerted staff on Driver as well. Then Marcus/CandleStickpark on driver just straight out asked him...hey you know those are stolen wheels right? where did you get those? and he also told the guy about my Rims Stolen threads on driver, on here, etc. So we meet up with the guy at his house around 6:30 tonight, verified that they were mine, and I left with my ****!!

A BIG thankyou goes out to Waizz for helping with getting information, etc. Also a Big thankyou goes out to the guys who noticed the for sale thread and posted it in here.

What was the seller's attitude? I would be pissed if I was left without money or wheels (if his story is true).

It's ok. He only gave the guy a pack of menthol cigarettes and a bottle of Colt 45 for the wheels anyways.
