Hey All,
I am wondering if anyone in the LA area has gotten a custom roll bar fitted into their Z. After reading some posts, it looks like the way to go is custom, so that's what I plan on doing.
I also want to ensure that it is SCCA approved.
Thanks.
Rahul

auto power makes a 4 and 6 point bar specific to our chassis, its scca and nasa approved, i have the 6 point. its was 895 gotta pick it up in san diego to save on shipping though. if you want custom ^gearheinz^ does good work but anything custom is pricey.

i was looking for a 4-pnt for at or under a grand fabbed and installed.
Well i do just want a 4-pnt roll bar, but I heard that Autopower and Kirk both have some clearance between the bar and the ceiling just because you need to fit it in there. I am kinda tall and dont have much clearance from my helmet to the ceiling, so i want to make sure that the bar will be above my helmet or else it is pretty much useless.

I was just thinking about going to this meet. Thanks for giving me another reason to do so.
As far as the Cusco cages, from what I have seen/heard, the bars are too thin to pass SCCA/NASA specs. They are more street/show from what I have read.
Kirk and AutoPower are the only bolt in options that I am aware of and wouldn't mind going this route if I know i fit, and the passenger seat issue isn't too bad.
