Default socal sprint users in socal, which one should i get?

recently i had my 1 year old samsung galaxy s2 stolen.

after looking for it i have now given up the search.

so now im in the market for a new cell. i do still like the galaxy s3 but they just unveiled the iphone5.

i have never really like apple phones in the past because of all the issues. im also a person who likes to customize the phone's programs and such.
with this new iphone5 i am assuming the new apple should have all the issues of the past fixed.

issues of the past i have seen that kept me away from the iphone.
-non removable batt.
-customer service, can only be serviced by apple.
-slow speeds.
-everyone has the same thing. im not really into follower of crowds.
-system on phone is not as modable like an android.
-screen is small compared to most smart phones.
-cost
-hype on something that wasnt that great to me.

the reason why im considering the iphone5
-it has grown a little larger in size. so now i can see the screen.
-now the samsung galaxy 3 is way too large for me personally.

pretty much i dont know anything more about the iphone5.

can you guys help me decide on which one is probably gonna be good.

found out that apple will not allow sprint to add sprint's insurance plan on to the iphone 5.

so i lose my cell again its not covered even if i want to pay the 11.00 a month coverage.

thats because they want you to get apple care. you can insure your phone, but it would have to be through apple.

I would go with the galaxy 3. you say its too big, but its really not that much bigger than the iphone 5. I am in the same dilemma and think I am leaning toward the galaxy 3. unless you have a bunch of other apple products that you want to sync together, I would go android.

i dont have anything apple. i have just never jumped on the band wagon for apple. i usually gauge the level of the product by the users of that product. thats why i have been staying away from their products.

The OS, I find that Android is a lot more advanced. Try attaching an image to anything from an apple product. I can't even post an image from my Flickr account on here

I'd go with the Galaxy S3, I own one and it's great. Jelly Bean will soon be released and it will run even smoother.
The big problem is that you think it is too big. Iphone is too small for me even at 4 inches.

Damn my HD2 which is over 3 years old had a 4.3 inch screen. Ill be ditching my galaxy s3 soon though, picking up a Galaxy Note 2
