Hey fellas need some fender work & paint done and would like to know which shop you think is better. I've heard nothing but good things about both shop, price wise there about the same. I'll be coming from Rancho Cucamonga. If there's any other shops that you recommend plz let me know, I don't mind driving for quality.

I've never had work done by Auto Explosion but I've seen the work they've done and it's amazing. Probably the best work I've ever seen.

Yea dvo I've seen/commented on that thread, and that's the same bumper I'm thinking of going with. I talked to both shops, just visited seven apples 2day and makito seems like a good guy. Ive seen work done by both shops.

 

DTMAUTOBODY I think it is slightly closer to you too.

 

I've heard mixed reviews..but mostly not so good (here on the forums).
So do you go to a shop where nothing but great things are said or somewhere that has an okay rep?

 

I got my car worked on at AE, they do good work, there fast too!

 

ive bought a body kit from dtm and had it installed and painted, not bad prices and not bad end result, you get what you pay for though, i paid 1200 for ings sides and rear and a amuse front bumper that i brought in all painted and installed, they didnt secure things very well on the side skirts and the rear bumper was just randomly screwed at the top and the factory holes were just left un used. i dont have any other experience with any of the other shops though

I heard good things about SevenApple myself. Then I saw his personal FC at Sevenstock last year and wasn't very impressed. You would think his car would be a moving billboard.

Auto Explosion is the go-to shop for many companies doing sema cars and most of the top awards at car shows (where the fit and finish is very important) go to cars done at Auto Explosion. And for what they do, they are reasonably priced. Not cheap, not expensive. Turn around times are fairly quick too

 

What about r&j auto body in Carson? I know there's a thread on g35driver and I've read it, even txt mextep for a quote but no responses.
