Default Help a bunny in need

I found a rabbit yesterday right outside my house. He is very tame, and he is potty trained. I can not keep her other wise I would. I love animals and it hurts me to have to give her up. I don't want to turn her in to a shelter, so I will hold her until I can find a home for her.

If you know anyone that will be willing to have a rabbit can you please pm me. Thanks!

BTW, I didn't know Racoons ate other live animals??? I thought they were mainly herbivores, and ate whatever meat they got out of the trash or what not.

Here's another

Thanks, hehe, you're funny.

It sucks to be an animal lover because I always take in animals, even though I know I can't keep them, then I end up breaking my own heart when I have to give them away or put them in a shelter. Which is why I pray I find a good home for her.

Steph,

That is a noble gesture of you rescuing a stray animal, youre OK in my book.

You can have the rabbit adopted at the Bunny Bunch organization. They specialize in rescuing rabbits and other small furry animals.

Here is te link:
Bunny Bunch

You can drop off the bunny at a Petsmart store and the Bunny Bunch will pick him/her up.

Thanks so much! I tried giving her to a bunny adoption place in Downey, but they said they weren't taking any at this time. I didn't find the bunny ranch, thanks for pointing it out. I posted up found bunny signs in my neighborhood, so I'll wait until monday, then I will take her to petsmart. Thanks again.

Be berry berry quiet. I'm hunting wabbits.......

Actually, I've got room. my house is not finished yet but I could easily build a cage for it and put it in a back bedroom until its done, and I am a great caretaker!

when I was a kid i had a rabbit and always said some day i would get another one.

unfortunately i do not have the time to come to LA to pick it up or I would. Hopefully the owner will find you so he does not need to find a new home but if they do not and you cannot find a new home for it there is one here in san diego if he can somehow hitchhike a ride down here!

good luck...

Steph:
I asked my Sandra to look at this thread, since she had a pair of rabbits before. No No overloaded with Law School.

We can't take him, cause we have hunter dogs. Sorry

Cheers Amy -

I hope you find the owners.
