Hey all,

I am in town with a couple of friends and we struggled to find somewhere to go out. Staying at Hyatt, West Hollywood and we tried SkyBar but never got in, went to Santa Monica and not much happening and other places were pretty quiet.

Any suggestions?

We are here from Sydney were we are used to all night places etc. Seems to be very hard to get into places here!!!

The SkyBar is guest list only.
They never accept walk ins. Not even for some $

To get on the guest list simply call them on the phone.
Usually a recording asks for your name and your companies name.
leave this information and you'll be added on the list for that night.

I've gone there a bunch of times, kinda over rated if you ask me.

Sunset strip is the main spot for the night life.

I hope you're enjoying your trip here. I love Australians, I always thought of you guys as the friendliest people there is. I've been to Oz numerous times and made friends with lots of people who were complete strangers to me but somehow treated me like I was a long time friend and were a blast to hang with.

Since youre in the Hollywood area already, start with the local bars/clubs like Miyagis, Key Club, Dublins, etc. Im more of an Orange County person so i could actually point you to the good ones if you ever find yourselves here.

Had a big night on Saturday, not sure half the places but started at Chi, then Saddle Ranch and I kinda not sure were we ended, the drinks were strong !!!
