Software engineer here as well.
Not so much of a graphic designer or a flash designer. Mainly a JAVA coder.
I am interested in learning some flash stuff.
Lemme know if I'll be of any help.

Ok. I have access from inside my office only. No remote access as of yet. My tech Dept. needs to set it up so we can get in from
outside. Because this is a personal task it gets pushed back with the daily business projects. It should only be a few days before I have outside access.
As I mentioned the intial launch will be simple. Mostly a picture album type site. Pics from meets and events. The more complicated we make it the more maintence that will be needed.
I am not too sure about the availablity of a Data base and
am looking to stay away from from as much programming as possible. A simple file structure.
The more complicated it gets the more webmastering and resources it requires.
Once the site is up and running we can look into other features that have been mentioned.
I put a Splash page up for now. I plan to meet with Chris at Stillen day to go over some of the design ideas.
I appreciate everyones help and ideas.
I will keep everyone posted on the progress.

A Sample of the Homepage is up for everyone to see.
it's just a sample and more things will be added or removed.
you can get a basic idea. many images and links are just place holders.
basically a work in progress.
I am super busy at work and am putting it together little by little.
Remote FTP access should be available soon and web mastering
will be easy.
I just wanted to get something up to show the group so everyone knows whats going on.
BTW- the ad banner is just a place holder and no external ads will be on the final version. We can however offer banners to other forum sites and/or performance shops.

Desi, that's the benefit of being the lead designer! You get to accent the club webpage with your preferences. That's the least you can have for all your hard work.
Thanks man.
