But, that's not what this thread is about. For warranty work, I recommend and would go to either Torrance Nissan or Performance Nissan. If you go to Torrance Nissan, get to know Brett and Brian.

Took my Z to Performance Nissan today for an alignment (hopefully no more feathering). They were great. Very professional and courteous. The GM even took time to come out and say hi to me and make sure everything was ok. And thank you Jeff for the ride in your car, it is INCREDIBLE, and answering all my questions about parts. I will definitely go back to Performance Nissan for any warranty work on my Z.

Hi Rie..

I'll have to come up to your shop, and to meet you folks and swap war stories.. Got a good Udon shop by you? Ha!

Wld350z is hard guy to take to have Asian food... We are breaking him in slowly...
Sharif is going to introduce him before he goes to N/C

Cheers Amy -

John,
I don' think there is any UDON places around there. Heck, I don't even think they have any restaurants around it!

FYI, I'll be there on 6/12/04 morning.... How about you come by then!? If you are planning a trip up, I figured 6/12 would be as good as any other. No udon but I'll treat you to some good Taiwanese food in San Gabriel.

um this might be a stupid question but, how many of you guys actually go to the dealership you got ur car from? cause ive heard the dealerships can be real A$$es when you bring ur car in and u didnt buy it from them. I live 18 min away from Performance Nissan (Map Quested) and had never heard of their awsomeness. I got my car from Montclair and its like a 2 hour drive and i would not go there for service so im gona have to find a good service place to call home . So just wondering if u guys have experience in taking ur cars to dealers other than the ones u bought it from.

question is, do they know whether or not you bought it from them?....

I took off the ugly dealer license plate frame the day after I got the car....

One of the questions they ask when you bring your car in for the first time is whether you bought the car from them or not. This is because they would have to take down more info about the car (i.e., vin # and such) if you haven't bought it from them (I always assumed this but if I'm wrong, let me know). I still say Performance Nissan is the best dealer to bring your car in for service!

I've never gotten a ride, but maybe I should ask next time Been there 4-5 times for some parts and services with my silver V2/V3 Z.

Hey Jeff, can your service dept rotate aftermarket tires? First they told me they can't because they don't rotate tires on Zs when I called. Then I asked them how do they deal with the 06 Zs, and suddenly they said maybe. Then I told them Jason wrote up a detailed instruction "kiddie picture" thing and they said yeah they could. So I brought my car in for 15k service, and they agreed they can do it. 6 hours later, they called and told me they couldn't do it because their machine couldn't handle it. I was in a hurry so I didn't really argue with them. It just seems strange MyNismo sells aftermarket rims, but do not have the equipments to mount and balance the tires?

But yeah, bring your car to Perf. Nissan. 90% of the time, their service is great. I even got a free oil change last time for some unknown reason haha.

I wouldn't take my Z to any other dealship besides Performance Nissan
even for a simple oil change.
Nissan dealership around my area RARELY see a fixed up Z, and the way
the techs looked at my car made me VERY annoying.
Next thing I know they were revving my engine like crazy!
I just picked up my car and left that dealership in a hurry.

Two thumbs up for Performance Nissan.
I got all my mods purchased and installed there.
BTW Tim is the BEST service advisor. He always takes care of me.
