Would love to help... but I'm busy enough working with our road race team this year. I'm also working on an event of our own for you guys on Oct 30th at the speedway in my spare time We'll see if I can get it to fly. Count Jason, Jenny and me in for the fun! We will be there.

Sorry for the long post. If nobody wants to volunteer, I will. I personally do not own the 350 nor do I know when it will disappear from my garage, but I don't mind organizing this for you guys. If anyone has a problem with that, then I will gladly let someone else do it.

Some extra info and other things I thought of (and yes I know, I'm thinking way ahead in time but that's how I am):

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable after 24 hours. However, they are transferable within club members. I know it's 5 months away but time will fly fast. This event is the weekend before Christmas. If you are planning on attending, please keep this in mind when making travel arrangements and scheduling holiday events.

Will the 3FIVEZEROZ name be used as the car club name?
If yes: I know not everyone that comes out to the local events is in agreement with that name, but this will be the first time the 3FIVEZEROZ name would be openly used to represent us. Please consider if it really bothers you to be associated with the name before buying your ticket.
If no: What name?

Would everyone want to keep this open to all types of cars, or limit this to 350's only? I am not sure if any northern CA people will be coming down for this, but they could join in on this. Or if they have their own club, then maybe we can arrange spots next to each other.

For those that will be coming with passengers: passengers do not need to buy the $65 ticket. A general admission ticket ($50 for both days) will get them into the VIP parking lot with you and will be able to ride in the fan lap.

Club members will have priority registration in the car show, auto-cross, dyno, and other challenges they are having open to the public. It is still on a first-come first-serve basis though.

We will be given a tent to hang out in. Why not organize a bbq lunch(es) in the parking lot? If that sounds like too much work and $$, GT Live will be providing free food and drinks throughout the event. Heh, I'd like to see someone fit a bbq grill in a Z. If that idea doesn't fly, then what will everyone want to do with the tent space? It'll probably be suggested that a banner with the used car club name could be hung, but I am not aware of any existing banners that anyone has. It probably costs a lot of $$ to make one. Either way, I will be spending more time checking out all the events than hanging out in the parking lot.

That's all I could think of for now. Feel free to share any other ideas and suggestions. And if you have any questions, ask away. Here is the link again for JGTC GT Live: http://www.jgtcusa.net/gtlive_attraction.html

Yes, this was decided by majority vote. 3FIVEZEROZ is definitely our club name.

Would everyone want to keep this open to all types of cars, or limit this to 350's only? I am not sure if any northern CA people will be coming down for this, but they could join in on this. Or if they have their own club, then maybe we can arrange spots next to each other.

We have always been an open club. The majority of members are 350z owners. However, we welcome any car enthusiast and have had cars of all makes and models present at our meets. So, if you're concerned about that, don't be.

Er, I'd like to think John is an example of a No. Cal. member of our club, even if John ditched his Z and bought a family station wagon. Everyone one is welcome and with any luck, we'll have a few folks from Northern California as well.

For those that will be coming with passengers: passengers do not need to buy the $65 ticket. A general admission ticket ($50 for both days) will get them into the VIP parking lot with you and will be able to ride in the fan lap.

Ah, just saved $15 for couples.

Club members will have priority registration in the car show, auto-cross, dyno, and other challenges they are having open to the public. It is still on a first-come first-serve basis though.

Thank you for taking up the task of being the contact person. Please make sure that ticket fees are collected after we have 20 definite members. You will probably want to ensure that everyone is comfortable with the payment process. So, please let us know how JGTCUSA is expecting payment.

And, I am available to assist you with respect to the above. This is now your baby. Thanks for volunteering!

Hey wait a minute. Don't forget the first part of the sentence. I know someone out there is dying to do this.

Payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard, and checks. Checks should be made payable to "PARAMAX". I am still waiting on an answer about how CC payments would be handled.

Ticket prices: In addition to the $65 fee, there will be a S&H fee. The handling fee per transaction is $2.50. Shipping charges for 20 tickets will be $16.95. The total price per ticket will be $65.98 ($1,319.45 for 20 tickets). Same method applies for regular tickets. Shipping prices will be a little different for tickets purchased after the initial buy.

Dang, I'm so sorry. I feel like I dumped this on you.

Absolutely right, we still need someone to volunteer. Sorry Erica, I didn't mean to put all that on you. I just wasn't reading carefully.

So, anyone want to take up the handling? If no one responses by August, I will take up the spot.

Sorry again!

And, the BBQ sounds great Brandon!

[Edit: We'll figure out something in terms of contribution of $$ to the BBQ]

hfm - No worries. I said if no one else volunteers, I will...with your help of course

ihatethatbobbarker - If you are talking about participating in the Time Attack, that is an event not open to the public.
"GT Live will also include a "JGTC Against The World" team time attack competition in which the top 6 finishers of the race on Saturday compete against 6 top tuner cars from around the world."
