well good day...great time...Q actually put down 321 HP so yeah we can all humble ourselves before the LS1 now,.,, :-) As for numbers. Matt seems to have something wrong with his Z but baring that everyone did well. I'm getting the video loaded up now. As for sheet if numbers I completely brain farted on filling out the list I brought. If everyone could PM me their numbers I'd be happy to get one together.

Mine was 254/235 (14+ a/f ratio!). This proves the best mod on the Z is shutting off the damned A/C! LOL.

 

I second the shutting down the A/C mod ... lol ... I went 231/227 to 241/236

Alright guys dyno video is on my comp. I gotta hack it up into sections. It came out to 250 + MB for 30 minutes. I'm cutting it into about 40 mb sections to keep the quality. I'll let you guys know when its ready for download!!

Hey guys, sorry I had to bounce early today, I hope everyone got their dyno's o.k. I was pretty disappointed in mine, I'm not sure what happened with the nitrous, I ended up pushing 287 hp and 383 tq, that's pretty bad considering I was pushing 321 and 387 on the other jets. My A/F chart is really weird but it looks like I was running kinda lean. I'm gonna try and go back tomorrow and dyno again. I'm going to put back on the old jets that I had on there when I dyno'd 321, at least then I was running rich which sounds a lot better than running lean. I'll post what I get if I do. Did everyone get their printouts? Alvin gave me a couple printouts, I'm not sure if someone forgot to pick theirs up.

 

FOR SALE: slightly used kinetix cats, jw popcharger, ur underdrive pulley. I'm going back to stock, plus nos.

Jeff at Autotech said some batches of cars came from factory with less than stated hp. I'm going back to autotech next sat. We're gonna reinstall all factory components, re-dyno, and then i'll make a decision from there. In the meantime, i'm going to Mossy on monday with my stock intake reinstalled and try to determine why i'm running lean. Any ideas or suggestions, y'all?

I wish I knew dude. It is wierd...I guess we'll know soon enough. If the dyno with the stock cats is the same then you knows its that. I'd try those since they are the easiest to replace./

 

I agree with Robert. I've heard the two biggest culprits for running lean are plena and hi-flow cats. Put the stock cats back on and re-dyno.

Hey Matt dont sell your parts as of yet! Let's see what the problem is first. After your stock dyno then we can start putting the mods on one by one to find the problem.
