I called Pann they would NEED the money the Monday before.
OK I called AEBS...they cannot go below $70 per car. The guy who runs the dyno at AEBS used to be the tuner for Pann and he told me the same thing. Plus when I talked to him he sort of hinted that the "cool down " time between runs could be used for "tuning" such as blower pulley, upping boost on turbos, changing jets..etc..Sorry guys thats the update/

Will pann also allow time for "cool down tuning"?
No need to be sorry. You were just following thru on an idea we had. Rather, you should be thanked, so thank for all your efforts, bro!
So the choice as it stands is $50 up front or $70 at the door, more or less, right? Did i miss anything? If not, i choose pann. i've used them a lot over the past 10 years, never had any problems with them, and they always seem to be less expensive than other tuning shops, especially "advance auto", who always priced themselves way too high in hopes that people wouldn't shop around; most of their shops are now closed. Just my $.02.

No Pann runs will not include any cool down/tuning time between runs. They would have it one pull after another. 3 pulls and off. Thats kind of why I think everyone wanted to use AEBS. They will give us time to do some stuff.

Hey guys, I talked to the the shop I go to, Autotech Motorsports in Convoy.

Here's their deal:

When: Same day, Probably get started early like 8am to make sure everyone gets their turn.
Price: $70
Pulls: 2
Printouts: HP, TQ, and A/F
Payment: Day of

Basically, thier matching AEBS on the price but I told them to hook you up with the A/F printouts. I think its important to see your A/F curve graphically. I think the purpose of going to the dyno is not just to see how much power your puttin down but how your car is running while doing it. It's for only 2 pulls instead of 3 but are 3 pulls really necessary. Its a lot better deal than the $100 they charged me, and I know the freakin guy, haha. Anyways, it's totally up to you guys, I get nothing either way, just tryin to hook da homies up. Let me know that way I can give them the word.

Here's the website just in case you wanna check em out. Looks like they just got online though.

Also AEBS is giving us 3 pulls not 2.

imh, nubie,o, i would much rather have the a/f graph in order to know whether or not i am running LEAN or rich during any part of the pull than have 3 pulls. Why do we need 3 pulls, anyway? i think 3 pulls is redundant unless everyone is going to make mods btwn each of the three pulls, which i haven't seen posted. With two pulls, we can get a baseline, then add a mod or mods for the second pull, and be out of there to enjoy our weekend.
aebs is only offering hp and tq graphs with a verbal report of a/f at some time during the pull. I think an actual printout of the a/f throughout the entire pull is very valuable, much moreso than 3 pulls.

AEBS doesnt print out the A/F report but they do A/F readings, you just will have to look at the monitor. Another thing is that Oliver lives out in Temecula, and I THINK thats where the shop he is talking about is. If it is in the Temecula area, are you willing to drive 75 miles just for a printout?

i think the shop that oliver goes to is on miramar rd.

wherever we go, i definitely want an A/F printout. tuning/future tuning is useless without it.

From his post it looks like the shop is off of Convoy down in SD> That aside, I'm down for whatever. Its the same price so I dont care too much. We did commit to AEBS but if we have to cancel I'm sure Ben will understand. The big question is ... CAN WE MAKE CHANGES TO THE CAR BETWEEN PULLS. Thats what made AEBS the popular choice. I know jwkirkland is going to be switching to a different blower pulley, Z Boy is going to add a ypipe, etc. I think that is the deciding factor here. Oliver is there a number I can call them at?

Hey guys, regarding time between pulls I didn't get a chance to ask. How long are you guys trying to have? Like I can understand a pully change, different jets, and boost settings. But as for adding a y pipe or something? They'd have to unstrap it and drop the car. And if we're trying to get 10 cars in that day, everyone might not get their turn. Like I said let me know what you guys want, within reason, and I'll ask. Can't hurt right. How many of you guys actually dyno'ing need to make adjustments inbetween anyways? Get me back, and I'll talk to the guy.

p.s. Oh yea, the place is in off of Miramar, I just realized my dumbazz didn't post the site, my bad.

I wont need any setting changes but i know jwkirkland wants to change out his pulley. Not sure if Zboy is going to have nitrous hooked, I think one person coming has an S-AFC that he wants to mess with. All in all I'm not sure. Like I said I'm not biased to either shop. I set this up for all of us just cause I know everyone wanted a dyno and I figured I'd all help out. Its up to everybody else. We just need to know before Friday cuz thats when AEBS needs the money. New list:

AEBS:
1.Brimstone
2.
3.
4.
5.

Autotech:
1.Zboy
2.
3.
4.
5.
